Radiology Technologist- 37.5 hours, Day shift page is loaded## Radiology Technologist- 37.5 hours, Day shiftlocations: Anna Jaques Hospitaltime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR92675**When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.**RADIOLOGY TECH**Job Description:****Radiology Tech** - 37.5hrs/week, RotatingResponsibilities include but are not limited to:* Performs and produces high-quality exams on patients of all ages including portable and C-Arm procedures in the OR.* Accurately positions body parts, uses appropriate exposures, and collimation.* Utilizes Meditech to complete all necessary paperwork, edits exams as necessary.* Reviews images in PACS to and follows procedures to prepare a study for interpretation.* Practices radiation safety measures for patients, staff and self.* Assists radiologist with exams and with administration of contrast agents to patients of all ages, following department protocol.* Performs related radiology services functions in an accurate and timely manner.* Cleans equipment after every patient.* Stays motivated to keep patients cared for in a timely manner.* All work areas are kept stocked and organized.* Maintains appropriate documentation for regulatory standards and the medical record while safeguarding patient confidentiality.* Helps to supervise Radiologic Technology students.* Provide clinical advice to Radiology clerical staff as needed.* Performs related duties, assists others as needed for the smooth operation of the department.* Assists with cloud PACS medical imaging sharing and assists with burning and uploading CD's.**Education Required:** Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.**Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:*** State of Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist and Technician License* BLS Certification* ARRT within 1 year of acquiring MA License.**Benefits working at Anna Jaques Hospital:*** Tuition Reimbursement* Career Development and Opportunities* Free On-Site Parking* Discounts/Savings on various businesses.* Health and Wellness activities**Apply today and learn more!***Join Anna Jaques Hospital (AJH), a distinguished not-for-profit community hospital nestled in the picturesque coastal community of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
