Clinical Nurse Educator II (CNE) – Acute Education, St. Peters Hospital Full time, FT Days – flexible shift options, 40 hrs a week. Position Summary: The Clinical Nurse Educator II (CNE II) provides professional development and education services in the clinical setting, assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary clinical practice. Responsibilities include supporting nurses to acquire the knowledge and skills to competently collect patient health data, analyze data to determine nursing diagnoses, identify patient‑specific outcomes, and develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain those outcomes. The CNE II practices theory‑based, evidence‑based nursing utilizing a shared governance model for decision‑making and aligns with the Nursing Professional Development: Scope and Standards of Practice (ANPD, 2016). Academic, Faculty, Nursing Clinical Educators encouraged to apply. Education Requirements Completed a graduate degree (master’s or doctoral) or a post‑master’s certificate from a program preparing graduates to practice as a Nurse Educator. Current New York State licensure as a registered professional nurse. Experience Requirements 5 years current clinical experience. Previous educational experience preferred. National certification and membership in a professional organization preferred. Compensation Pay range: $42.00–$55.46 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
