Everstead Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Full-Time Medical Records & Staffing Scheduler. Medical Records

• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medical records.
• Process admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Audit medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage physician orders and required clinical documentation.
• Assist with medical record requests and survey preparation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all federal and state regulations.

Staffing Scheduler

• Develop and maintain nursing schedules for all shifts.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage based on resident census and acuity.
• Manage daily call-ins and secure replacement staff as needed.
• Track employee schedules, time-off requests, and staffing changes.
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain staffing reports and scheduling documentation.

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting required.
• Experience with medical records, staffing, scheduling, or nursing administration preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, medical record requirements, and long-term care regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
