How You’ll Make an Impact Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Meet or exceed established monthly sales performance targets and penetration goals within the assigned MDU portfolio, as defined in the Standards of Sales Performance. Engage potential customers in non-bulk multi-dwelling unit properties with 50+ doors through door-to-door outreach to acquire new residential customers Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new or additional Spectrum services within assigned properties. Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy, using appropriate tools and resources, and follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved. Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors’ activities, pricing, and offers throughout the assigned territory, and inform the supervisor/manager of changing competitive programs or marketing directions. Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs; apply learning and feedback to improve individual sales results. Accurately complete all necessary documentation to support sales activities, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting, in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines and required timeframes. Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policy and guidelines. Working Conditions Spend approximately 80% of your time outdoors, walking door-to-door and lifting up to 20 pounds in various weather Work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, split days off and holidays What You’ll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Experience 1+ years in sales or customer service Skills Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards Preferred Qualifications Experience 2+ years sales or relevant work experience Skills Understanding of communications technologies and data networking fundamentals Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services Experience educating consumers about products and services Proven success in sales, prospecting or cold calling Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers. A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances. The base pay for this position generally is between $33,200.00 and $66,000.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $55,000 .
