Medical Director Addiction Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

We are seeking a Medical Director Addiction Medicine Physician (M.D. or D.O.) providing comprehensive addiction medicine care to patients with substance use disorders.

The position would be 25% inpatient and 75% outpatient practice.

M4 – Daily census 12-15

Methodone Clinic has 120 patients enrolled

New Horizons out-patient clinic- 2 Physician and 3 APPs

The physician would perform histories and physical exams and medication management visits, and offers medical care for complications of substance use disorders, as clinically appropriate. Engages in all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis and treatment. Orders labs, EKGs, and other tests as clinically indicated. Leads and/or attends multidisciplinary team meetings in the Addiction Medicine Department.

Must be board certified/eligible.

Must have completed an ACGME accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship. xhyhwjd

This is for our UHS Addiction Medicine Clinic located at Binghamton General Hospital. Office hours Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary Range: $310,249 - $326,600 annually plus Medical Director Stipend
