The Opportunity

AGI is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Lenexa, Kansas. Responsible for assembling electronic components, grain sensor cables, wire harnesses, and related products used in AGI's Hazard Monitoring and Grain Bin Monitoring systems.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time employment in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Work schedules are based on production needs and can often be arranged to accommodate availability. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to follow established manufacturing processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic components, grain sensor cables, wire harnesses, and related assemblies according to specifications.

• Read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.

• Perform basic inspections of completed products to verify quality standards are met.

• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality requirements.

• Safely operate hand tools, including screw guns and heat guns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S principles.

• Move raw materials and finished products as needed throughout the production area.

• Meet established productivity, utilization, and quality expectations.

• Comply with AGI's Code of Business Ethics and all company policies.

• Support team goals and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience & Skills:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to safely work with hand tools and assembly equipment.
