Mobile Staff Solutions is looking to hire a Metal Polisher for 2nd shift in Tampa, FL
Temp to Perm Position; Pay based on experience $15 - $17/ hour

Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum of one year of related experience
3. Post-Secondary Certificate awarded for training completed after high school, preferred (examples: Industrial painting or coating, metal fabrication, construction trades)

MUST HAVES / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
1. Experience using Metal polishing machinery, abrasive tools (ex. Wheels, hot blackeners, finishers, dryers, grinders, sanders..)
2. Experience removing dents, scratches & other flaws from metal surfaces.
2. Capable of managing and completing multiple tasks accurately and expeditiously
3. Detail-oriented
6. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independently and establish goals and objectives with little or no supervision
8. Must have the ability to recognize when there is a problem and communicate the existence of a problem with expedience.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1. Inspect metal parts or surfaces for defects and flaws
2. Use hand tools to remove dents & flaws
3. Apply metal polish to parts or surfaces using a variety of techniques.
4. Operate machinery such as lathes, grinders, drills, sanders etc. to smooth surfaces
5. Keeping work area clean and organized
6. Communicating with supervisors and coworkers about job progress and any issues that may arise

Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to stand or walk long periods of time
2. Able to push or pull 45 lbs minimum
3. Must be able to work in non-climate controlled setting
