Our Commercial Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Skilled Laborer to support apartment renovation and maintenance projects throughout Los Angeles County. In this role, the Skilled Laborer will perform a variety of construction and maintenance tasks, including framing repairs, drywall patching and installation, flooring repairs, demolition, and general property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in occupied and vacant apartment units, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and be able to complete assignments efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards.ScheduleMonday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Overtime may be available but is not guaranteedResponsibilitiesPerform general construction maintenance in residential and commercial spacesSkilled with metal and wood framing repairsInstall, repair, and finish drywallApply texture and finish work as directed by the construction supervisorDemolish existing doors, windows, cabinets, and wallsInstall doors, cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures as directedWork independently or collaboratively in a team environmentRequirementsRecent and relevant experience in carpentry, maintenance, or a related trade; multi-craft experience with at least four years of experience preferredMust provide basic hand and/or power tools necessary to perform assigned workProficient English communication skills required to write reports and emailsMust be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shiftAbility to work in various weather conditionsMust have the physical ability to grip, grasp, twist, climb, and descend stairs with or without construction materialsAbout the CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
