Huntington University has an opening for a OTA Lab and Administrative Coordinator.

The OTA Lab and Administrative Coordinator supports the daily operation of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program by maintaining the OTA classroom and laboratory environments and providing administrative support to faculty, students, and program leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and an understanding of the relationship between faith and professional practice.

  • Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) certification preferred. Candidates with relevant patient care experience in a health-related field, such as experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), rehabilitation aide, or similar role, will also be considered.

  • Commitment to supporting an occupational therapy practice curriculum grounded in the mission of the University and reflective of Christian ethics, compassion, and service.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, the University community, and clinical partners.

  • Proficiency with computer applications and technology needed to support departmental operations.

  • Demonstrated commitment to stewardship and service to others.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Self-directed, innovative, and able to assess current operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop practical strategies to enhance departmental functioning.

Work Schedule:  This is a part time, non-exempt, 9-month position, working 20 hours per week.
