Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the accurate receiving, handling, organizing, staging, and movement of merchandise. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing products for delivery, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive, unload, inspect, and stage incoming merchandiseAccurately pull products using pick lists and prepare merchandise for delivery routes and customer pickupsLoad and unload trucks safely and efficiently while minimizing product damageOrganize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locationsOperate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safelyAssist with inventory counts and support inventory accuracy initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all timesMove furniture and merchandise throughout the warehouse, showroom, and loading areas as neededFollow company safety procedures and report hazards, accidents, or damaged merchandise promptlyWork collaboratively with delivery, showroom, and management teams to support operational needsMaintain productivity standards and complete assigned tasks within established timeframesDemonstrate flexibility by assisting in various warehouse functions as business needs changeAdhere to attendance expectations and maintain reliable transportation to and from workPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities:Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and staging merchandiseAbility to read and follow pick lists, instructions, and warehouse documentationStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities throughout the dayDependable work ethic and commitment to teamworkBasic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling proceduresAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and managementRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with appropriate equipmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor for extended periods of timeAbility to work in varying indoor temperatures, including hot and cold warehouse conditionsAbility to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentReliable transportation and dependable attendanceAbility to work scheduled warehouse hours and overtime as business needs requireAbility to comply with company dress code and safety requirements, including slip-resistant footwearAvailability for full-time work, including weekends as neededAbout Kimbrell's Furniture:At Kimbrell's Furniture, our founder's vision continues to guide everything we do: "Our passion is to improve the happiness and well-being of others through home furnishings."
