Position Summary Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting. Assess economic trends and community needs to support strategic growth. What you’ll do

• Provide direction and guidance to Associates on customer service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines.
• Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging Associates to serve as civic ambassadors.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, regulations and maintain asset protection and safety controls. Conduct operational and quality assurance reviews; develop and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Supervise and develop Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset.
• Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Uphold the Open Door Policy: meet with Associates, listen to concerns, research issues, review policies, and suggest resolutions. Coordinate job‑related activities, build relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, and communicate goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications Completion of 2+ years of college **or** 1 year of retail experience **and** 1 year of supervisory experience **or** 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising Associates. Compensation & Benefits The hourly wage range for this position is $30.50 – $43.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
