Shipping tasks include picking, packing, and shipment of orders. Must react to changes productively and handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Join a company that invests in you from day one./ph3What You Will Do/h3ulliThe Shipping Associate is responsible for the standard shipping and preparation of merchandise/liliShipping tasks include picking, packing, and shipment of orders/liliOrganize and prioritize orders according to daily needs and workflow/liliEnsure outbound shipments are accurate and shipped in a timely manner/liliUtilize computers, printers, pallet jacks, stock chasers, forklifts, and other tools/liliEnsure equipment is adequately maintained and in good working condition to complete the job/liliPractice safety and take precautions to prevent merchandise from being damaged/liliParticipates in developing and improving Standard Work Practices for each area and consistently reviews them for effectiveness through team meetings and practice/liliMaintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse/liliMust react to changes productively and handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned/liliWrapping and staging pallets/liliCreate, print, and apply labels using different label software and hardware/liliMust be willing to cross train/li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulliMust be 18 years of age./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred/liliAbility to read and speak English./liliMust have reliable transportation./liliAbility to follow detailed instructions./liliAbility to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery./liliMust be comfortable using electronic devices./liliCan lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation./liliBasic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately./liliAbility to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information./liliMust be flexible with start and departure time changing./liliAbility to work overtime when needed./liliAbility to work independently without close supervision./liliResponsible for any additional duties assigned./li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3pIn performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs.
