Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist (PT) plays a critical role in the Acute Rehab Unit, providing high-quality care to patients recovering from various conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

Number of Openings: 1
Shift: Day
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32
Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
Call Requirements: n/a
Float Requirements: May float to alternate units as required

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 12
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Equipment: FWW, rollator, hemi walker, SBQC, SPC, hoyer, trapeze, sit-to-stand, bariatric equipment
EHR: Epic
Patient Population: 18+

Qualifications

Required Education: MSPT/DPT
Years of Experience: 1+
Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Personality Fit: An optimistic outlook on recovery and flexibility are key attributes.
