Job Overview Retail Engagement Specialist – Market: AMRET, IL – Chicago 173 Job Type: Regular Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Compensation: $23 per hour + 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity Requirements: Personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. Key Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Performance Expectations Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly, effectively schedule visits 2+ weeks in advance. Execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits. Demonstrate ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity. Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment. Maintain customer confidentiality. Reliable transportation within assigned territory.
