About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of OR circulating experience; previous charge experience preferred. Travel experience required. License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous OR circulating experience; preferred OR charge experience; must be able to float within the facility; willing to be on call one weeknight per week and one weekend every six weeks. Description: Position requires a Registered Nurse with operating room circulating experience. The nurse will float between units as necessary. On-call availability is required. Weekends are required for on-call coverage only. No block schedules are required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates must have experience in various surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, obstetric, ENT, plastics, vascular, and eye surgeries. The facility is a short-term acute care and Level III trauma center. The nursing team will cover OB cases, including C-sections. A callback timeframe of 20 minutes is necessary for call duty. Housing options are available for those on call within the required timeframe. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. References covering the last year of experience are required. All candidates must be able to provide responses to specific questions during the submission process. No direct outreach to facility contacts is allowed unless previously agreed upon for interviews.
