Remote option available for candidates outside of surrounding areas. The Director serves as a strategic partner to operators, providing the tools, frameworks, insights, and leadership necessary to improve productivity, quality, patient experience, and financial results. Through the application of continuous improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making, this leader helps elevate operational maturity and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Drive Operational Excellence Lead operational excellence initiatives that improve efficiency, service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve productivity, resource utilization, and cost effectiveness. Facilitate continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause, and structured problem-solving methodologies. Develop and implement standardized processes, operating rhythms, and best practices that drive consistency and scalability. Partner with Operators to Lead Change Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solving partner to operational leaders across markets and business units. Provide coaching and facilitation to help leaders close performance gaps and improve outcomes. Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working through effective change management. Build relationships and influence change without direct authority, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Measure & Manage Performance Develop and maintain operational metrics, scorecards, and dashboards that provide actionable insights. Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support business reviews and track improvement initiatives to ensure sustainable results, presenting findings to senior leadership. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in operations, operational excellence, business transformation, consulting, performance improvement, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success leading operational improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business results. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Experience partnering with operational leaders in a multi-site or distributed operating environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Preferred Master's degree (MBA or related advanced degree). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience in healthcare, healthcare services, or private equity-backed organizations. Experience supporting multi-site operations and performance improvement programs. Experience developing operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance management systems.
