Resident Physician

Residents will be responsible for compliance with their training under the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Training as physician. Provide exemplary clinical care of patients, complete charting and documentation, follow rules of ACGME, State and Federal Guidelines for physicians.

Rotates in various areas of the hospital and outpatient clinics performing duties as prescribed in their contracts and in the curriculum goals and objectives for each rotation.

See patients, provide care, correspondence and follow up.

Residents will work within the health care system, communicating effectively with staff, nurses and other providers.

Provides teaching to junior residents and medical students as assigned and appropriate.

Annual completion of World Health Organization hand hygiene education and training and its relationship to infection control in addition to physical demonstration and understanding of compliance monitoring.
