Make a lasting impact supporting students in a school-based setting near Dalton, GA! A contract paraprofessional position is available, providing essential classroom and student support in a self-contained resource environment. You’ll partner with teachers and specialists to help meet the unique needs of students with diverse abilities and be a valued part of their educational journey from now through May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active GaPSC Paraprofessional Educator Certificate, OR
  – At least an Associate’s degree, OR
  – Have already completed the Para GACE exam
• Direct experience in special education classrooms or ABA a strong advantage
• Genuine patience, empathy, and a collaborative attitude
• Comfortable assisting students with a range of physical and developmental needs—including providing toileting assistance as required
• Reliable, consistent, and committed to supporting student success every day

Role Responsibilities:

• Support instruction and daily classroom routines for students with a variety of learning profiles
• Assist with personal care tasks and facilitate inclusion in classroom and school activities
• Team up with teachers and support staff to create a positive, nurturing environment
• Implement individualized strategies and interventions under the direction of classroom staff
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school and district policies
