Cmm Technician

Quality TechnicianJoin our dynamic team as a Quality Technician where you will support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure all aerospace components meet internal specifications and customer/industry standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. This role is on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, offering a 15% shift differential.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, first-article, and final inspections on aerospace components using precision measurement tools.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and other metrology equipment.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records in accordance with AS9100 requirements.Identify nonconforming material and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process.Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.Conduct visual inspections following aerospace standards, focusing on surface finish, defects, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention.Participate in internal audits, process verifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality concerns effectively.Support calibration efforts for measurement devices.Follow all safety, compliance, and company policies.Essential SkillsProficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.Experience with measurement tools.Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Precision Manufacturing.Additional Skills & QualificationsCMM experience.Experience with basic and advanced metrology tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Optical Comparators, and 3D Scanners & CT Scanners.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.Manual dexterity to handle delicate parts and inspection equipment.Good vision for close inspection work (with or without corrective lenses).Comfortable working around aerospace machining, fabrication, or assembly environments.Why Work Here?Be part of an innovative team where continuous improvement and teamwork drive success.
