Peltier Subaru is looking for a dependable, experienced Used Car Technician to join our service team. This position is focused on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles so they are safe, reliable, and ready for sale.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working on multiple makes and models. Subaru experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, and HVAC concerns
• Complete repairs needed for used car reconditioning
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, filters, fluids, brakes, tires, batteries, alignments, and tune-ups
• Identify needed repairs clearly and accurately
• Communicate findings to service advisors, used car managers, and dispatch
• Document all work performed on repair orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures
• Help ensure vehicles are frontline-ready in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle brands
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Subaru or dealership experience is a plus
