Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification are required. Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred. Acute care experience must be current and consistent within the last 12 months in oncology. Recommended skills include central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, chemotherapy administration, telemetry monitoring, and recognizing abnormal lab values.
