Job Description
Senior Information Systems Security Analyst opportunity supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations for a large public healthcare system. This role focuses on protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational systems, networks, and sensitive healthcare data. The position involves security engineering, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, forensic investigations, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity technologies across enterprise environments. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field required

Minimum 6 years of experience in information systems security required

Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent required

CISSP certification highly preferred

Strong hands-on security engineering experience required

Knowledge of NIST, HITRUST, PCI, HIPAA Security Rule, and security frameworks required

Experience supporting multiple platforms and applications in a systems administration environment required

Experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence, and cyber defense required

Advanced knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, VPNs, firewalls, malware analysis, and network security principles required

Working knowledge of Active Directory/GPO, DLP, encryption technologies, MFA, CASB, EDR, Linux, and Windows systems required

Ability to perform technical risk assessments and implement corrective actions required

Experience conducting network security scans and penetration testing required

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with direct hands-on technical implementation experience required
