Job Duties
- Assemble and modify mechanical equipment and systems.
- Work with equipment related to HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Assist with refrigerant retrofit and process refrigeration equipment.
- Use basic hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
- Perform mechanical assembly and modifications according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team while also being able to complete tasks independently.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of shop mechanic experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Must be mechanically inclined with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using basic hand tools.
- HVAC and electrical knowledge is required.
- Welding and/or brazing experience is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented, precise, and focused on completing quality work.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Shifts:
- Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
- Temp-Perm
