Project Analyst

. The Project Analyst will support project managers and leadership teams in planning, executing, and monitoring project costs, budgets, and financial requirements. Using data-driven insights, you will track project performance, identify risks or variances, and help ensure projects are delivered within contractual, budgetary, and financial expectations. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers to build budgets and align resources with project needs. Develop financial forecasts and recommend cost-saving or efficiency measures when appropriate. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Compare actual costs against estimates to identify variances and potential risks. Prepare reports and dashboards that provide visibility into project performance. Assist in reviewing and approving vendor invoices. Work with pricing, contracts and procurement in securing necessary project support requirements. Conduct monthly budget review meetings with project managers and any other stakeholders. Create and maintain financial reports. Requirements: (3-5) years of experience in finance/accounting in a government contracting environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Must be proficient in Microsoft tools with intermediate to high proficiency in Microsoft Excel Preferred: Deltek CostPoint experience Required Education and Certifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited school or 3-5 years of finance, accounting, project analyst experience.
