Your Role Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in conjunction with physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
• Educating patients and families on preventive care, health maintenance, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the allowed scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting all interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
