Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (LTCA) in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Start 07/13/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care nursing home. Weekly pay range: $1,340–$1,407 per week. 36 hours guaranteed per week. Days shift. This assignment focuses on rehabilitative services and activities of daily living support within a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services per the plan of care under supervision of a licensed OT.
- Provide direct resident care in the LTC setting focusing on ADLs, ROM, strength, balance, and functional mobility; utilize adaptive equipment as indicated.
- Conduct data collection, document progress notes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising OT.
- Monitor safety during sessions, apply appropriate infection control practices, and maintain accurate charting in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in discharge planning, and communicate with families as appropriate.
- Assist with outcome measurements, assistive device fitting, and support resident participation in meaningful activities to promote independence.

Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting
- Availability to start on 07/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment
- Willingness to work the Day shift and meet the 36-hour-per-week guarantee
- Compliance with standard facility policies and infection control practices
