About the Position

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience required License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to scrub and circulate Cath and EP procedures - Ability to prep and recover patients - Ability to administer moderate sedation - Ability to titrate and manage critical drips Description: We are seeking a registered nurse with experience in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience. The RN will be responsible for circulating, scrubbing, and recovering patients in the Cath Lab. Common procedures include cath lab chest pain, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, stenting, electrophysiological ablations, loop recorders, and pacemaker/defibrillator placement. RNs will float to the Cath Lab prep/recovery area and care for patients there. A willingness to rotate weekends and participate in a call schedule is required. The holiday expectation is participation in 70% of holidays. The department promotes a high level of autonomy with a culture of teamwork. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment. Scrubs should be black as per department policy.
