RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) with average 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends. Job Description We seek a skilled RN with experience in both Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and troubleshooting during procedures, while also ensuring a safe and efficient workflow in the unit. Responsibilities Participate in patient care by conducting assessments and planning and implementing treatment plans. Perform various procedures including cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and other interventional radiology tasks. Monitor and manage patients undergoing sedation and respond to medical emergencies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology required. Current NY RN license required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is required. Experience with EPIC charting system is a must.
