Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand individual client needs, utilizing solution-focused interventions to create tailored treatment plans.

  • Implement a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address the mental health needs of clients.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer counselors, to collectively enhance patient care.

  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care delivery.

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with resources and understanding necessary for their mental health conditions and treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We serve a diverse client base in the San Antonio area, offering individualized support to people of various backgrounds and experiences. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, seeking assistance for mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and more. Your role will involve understanding their unique challenges and collaboratively strategizing solutions that foster recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques, with the ability to adapt approaches to meet the specific needs of each client.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
