, you'll be a vital member of our perioperative team, working alongside surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure every procedure runs smoothly and safely. You'll also have the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert for a surgical specialty and precept new scrub personnel making this role both hands-on and leadership-driven. Prepare the OR for procedures by gathering instruments, supplies, and equipment based on surgeon preference cards. Set up and maintain sterile fields, ensuring integrity and adherence to aseptic technique. Assist in positioning patients and supporting the anesthesia team. Handle medication setup on the sterile field according to policy and surgeon instructions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 2 years of surgical technologist experience preferred. NBSTSA Certification in Surgical Technology (required unless grandfathered per Massachusetts law). Computer proficiency and a commitment to confidentiality.
