MECHANICAL JOURNEYMAN – COMMERCIAL HVAC
$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS; Show us what you can do, and you may not have to wait 90 days!
EXPERIENCED INSTALLERS WANTED – WE'RE HIRING NOW!
Are you the guy or gal everyone looks to when it’s time to figure out how the job actually gets installed?
If you can read the plans, lay it out, solve problems in the field, lead a crew, and still jump in and get your hands dirty — we want to talk to you.
Tankco MEP is looking for an experienced Mechanical Journeyman who knows commercial HVAC installation inside and out.
We need someone who can walk onto a commercial project, understand what needs to happen, organize the work, and MAKE IT HAPPEN.
$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Qualified Mechanical Journeymen are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus
IMPORTANT: Use Bonus Code #5HVAC when applying to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
YOU KNOW HOW TO INSTALL:
- Complete commercial HVAC & mechanical systems
- RTUs and split systems
- Air handlers and exhaust systems
- Commercial ductwork and sheet metal
- Transitions, offsets, fittings, and equipment connections
- Full mechanical systems from layout through completion
YOU KNOW HOW TO LEAD:
We're looking for more than someone who can install.
You should be able to:
- Read mechanical plans, prints, and specifications
- Lay out work directly from the plans
- Lead and direct installers and apprentices
- Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, GCs, and other trades
- Identify problems before they become expensive problems
- Keep your crew productive and the project moving
- Maintain quality and jobsite safety
- Work alongside your crew when needed
THIS IS NOT A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE POSITION
This position is focused on COMMERCIAL MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION.
We're looking for someone with extensive commercial installation experience — someone who understands how the entire mechanical system comes together, not just one piece of it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Journeyman-level mechanical/HVAC experience
- Extensive commercial installation experience REQUIRED
- Strong ductwork and sheet metal knowledge
- RTU, split system, air handler, and equipment installation experience
- Previous lead, foreman, or field leadership experience
- Ability to independently read plans and lay out work
- Strong field problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable and ready to work
WHAT TANKCO MEP OFFERS
- $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Full-time employment
- Steady commercial work
- Leadership opportunities
- Opportunity for advancement
- A growing company with room to move up
- A place where experience, productivity, and ability matter
WE'RE HIRING NOW!
If you're an experienced Mechanical Journeyman who can:
READ IT. LAY IT OUT. LEAD IT. INSTALL IT.
WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU.
