HSE Specialist

A growing renewable energy company is looking for a proactive, hands-on HSE Specialist to support field operations across utility-scale wind projects in North Texas. This is a field-focused role for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with technicians, and helping build a strong safety culture across operational teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are embedded into day-to-day activities. Key responsibilities Conduct on-site HSE inspections, audits, and tower climbs to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency response drills Monitor compliance with PPE, working at heights, LOTO, and environmental procedures Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Maintain HSE documentation, reporting, and audit records Partner with field leadership and operational teams to identify risks and improve safety performance Act as a visible HSE presence in both field and operational environments Requirements Proven HSE experience working in robotics, preferably in relation to energy Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HSE compliance, audits, and incident investigation Ability and willingness to climb wind turbines and work in field-based environments Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-oriented approach Relevant HSE qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, GWO, or equivalent) are advantageous Full-time position basedin Denton.
