We are hiring ONSITE AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETERS! We are looking for experienced sign language interpreters who want to join an international company and be a great help to the community. Job Overview We are currently seeking professional and experienced American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to support students across Palm Beach County Schools . This position requires a strong commitment to communication access in educational environments, particularly for students in K–12 settings. Job type: ONSITE. Location: Palm Beach, FL, USA. Schedule: Consistent weekday availability. You should be available to cover multiple school assignments throughout the week. Rate: it depends on Certification and Experience. Responsibilities Provide accurate and culturally appropriate ASL interpretation for students, teachers, and school staff. Work with children and teenagers in a variety of classroom and school-related settings. Support multiple school assignments throughout the week based on scheduling needs. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in line with educational interpreting guidelines. Collaborate with educators and other interpreters as part of a team-oriented environment. Stay organized and prepared for each assignment, including understanding the context and vocabulary related to classroom content. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities as needed. Requirements Valid certification: RID or equivalent credentials (BEI, NAD). Prior experience in educational interpreting, preferably in K–12 settings. Consistent weekday availability and flexibility to travel between schools within the district. Strong attendance record and punctuality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Positive reputation within the local interpreting or educational community. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and maintain best practices in the field.
