Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Litigation Paralegal to join a fast-paced litigation and collections firm handling high-volume commercial litigation matters.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already understands litigation workflow, can draft and file legal documents with minimal hand-holding, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, communicative, and able to think independently while managing a high volume of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft summons & complaints, answers, discovery responses, motions, and litigation documents
• Prepare and assist with motions for summary judgment, default motions, and related filings
• File documents through NYSCEF
• Manage litigation workflow across multiple active matters
• Review pleadings, exhibits, payment histories, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate internally with attorneys, paralegals, negotiators, and operations staff
• Handle high-volume case management while maintaining accuracy and organization
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding case status and litigation updates
• Utilize templates, CRM systems, Slack, and internal systems to manage workflow efficiently
• Assist with discovery, motion practice, and court correspondence

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong experience drafting and filing litigation documents
• Experience using NYSCEF
• Familiarity with New York litigation procedures and CPLR
• Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to problem-solve independently
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities and shifting workflow
• Professional, team-oriented personality with strong follow-through
