Tony’s Market Job DescriptionTitleBakery Customer ServiceDepartment(s)BakeryReports toBakery ManagerJob summary: Responsible for offering extraordinary customer serviceSummary of essential job functions:Immediately greet all customers and ensure extraordinary customer serviceProvide extraordinary service by responding to customer inquiries, fulfilling special requests via special orders or requesting transfers and effectively resolving complaints.Solicit sale of new or additional services or products by educating customers and offering suggestions.Take customers' orders and write ordered items on tickets.Prepare food such as cookies, pies, brownies, etc. using recipes or following directions.Serve food, beverages, or pastries to customers.Wrap menu items such as cakes, pies, and pastries for customer orders.Label items sold using scales or other pricing methods.Review orders for completeness, if out of stock, contact Department Manager to place special order or contact other stores to check for availability.Fulfill special orders and requests utilizing all tools provided.Replenish foods in demos and display cases.Abide by safety, health and security rules.Complete specials projects and other duties as assignedRegular and predictable attendanceStandard job functions:Upholds the 7 guiding principles of the companySupport goals and vision of General ManagerConsistently presents a professional personal image and uphold the company’s uniform policyMaintain safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environmentComply with all regulatory rules and regulations including HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, Weights and Measures and local food and sanitation laws.Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekendsTimely and consistent attendance.Knowledge, skills and abilities required:Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and use organizational skills1-2 Years previous bakery experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Tonys Meats Inc
