You will function under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their overall quality of life. A typical day may include assisting with therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, transfer training, and functional activities tailored to each patient's goals.You will perform treatments for adult and primarily geriatric patients, many of whom are recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or managing chronic conditions. Responsibilities include implementing the plan of care established by the PT, monitoring patient response, contributing to progression of exercises within your scope, and ensuring safe use of assistive devices. You will also play a key role in patient and family education, helping individuals understand their home exercises and safety strategies.The setting is designed to support efficient and coordinated care, with an interdisciplinary team that may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and case management. Patient volumes and caseloads are structured to prioritize quality, individualized care while maintaining reasonable productivity expectations. You can expect a steady flow of patients with varied diagnoses, offering opportunities to continually build your clinical skills.Documentation is completed using an electronic medical record system, with established workflows to support accurate and timely charting. You will be expected to maintain thorough, compliant documentation of visits, interventions, and patient progress while collaborating closely with the PT to communicate changes in patient status.Shifts are typically scheduled during daytime hours, often aligned with standard therapy department operations and weekday coverage, with potential for occasional weekend or holiday shifts depending on patient needs. Required Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant, Skilled License and SNF experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Travel experience is preferred
