Production Operator

Pay Rate $19.91 per hour + $.50 shift premium

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supplying filling and tortillas to production lines, monitoring line operations, performing quality checks, completing equipment setup and sanitation activities, and maintaining the continuous flow of product throughout the manufacturing process.

• Load and maintain filling in production equipment
• Handle ad stage tortillas for production
• Monitor production lines, perform quality checks, and make minor repairs or adjustment as required
• Assemble and set up production equipment
• Transport material between staging and production areas
• Verify production schedules, and required documentation before production begins
• Follow food safety (HACCP), GMP, and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to understand and follow written SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 65 pounds
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
