A cardiac catheterization lab nurse has the primary function of performing work using the heart catheterization tool. This catheter is inserted into the arteries of the heart and used to diagnose heart conditions and sometimes used to provide treatment for certain heart conditions. They also assist physicians with the implant of pacemakers and defibrillators in patients who are suffering from heart conditions and heart disease. Physicians performing angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, cardiac catheterization, and other catheterization procedures often employ the assistance of a cardiac catheterization lab nurse.

Cancellation Policy: 3/25 *See Full Cancellation Policy in Document Tab* Before Start Date. In the event Hospital desires to cancel Placement's assignment, without cause, prior to the Placement's assignment start date, Hospital will make a good faith effort to provide Agency with advanced written notice of such cancellation. After Start Date. In the event Hospital desires to cancel the assignment of any Placement, without cause, who has already started providing Services to Hospital, Hospital will provide Agency with fourteen (14) days' prior written notice in accordance with Section 3.5 of this Agreement. Hospital fails to provide at least (14) days' prior written notice to Agency, Hospital will compensate Agency an amount equal to the number of hours Placement was scheduled to work during that (14) day period, less the hours Placement actually worked during such (14) day period, multiplied by the Agency's hourly bill rate for such Placement.

Guarantee Hours Policy: Hospital may cancel up to four shifts for a 13-week assignment, up to three shifts for 12 weeks or less.

Hospital may directly hire Placement using the following fee schedule payable to Agency by Hospital, and payable by Agency to Affiliate Provider: less than 26 weeks of Services by Placement: 30% of year one base salary offered to Placement. This fee will be reduced by 1% for each consecutive week Placement is utilized as a Placement in HOSPITAL facility. Furthermore, HOSPITAL may directly hire Placement with no fee after 26 weeks on contract has been completed.
