POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES:

• Ensure that all necessary requirements for replenishment are properly planned and that the production operations at the site are planned and executed to maximize customer service levels. Owns and executes the Finite Schedule for Manufacturing Plant.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develop Finite Schedule for product line/plant.
• Manage stock levels of MTS items.
• Validate procurement requisitions & firm.
• Maintain MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) inputs.
• Evaluate MRP results, validate procurement requisitions and release purchase requisitions.
• Creates return purchase requisition
• Generate batch tickets for distribution to the floor
• Maintain planning parameters in the material master in cooperation with the Supply chain team.
• Pay Site invoice P Card purchase and reconcile in Ariba
• Oversees Physical Inventory process for site.

ORGANIZATION REALTIONSHIPS:

• Regular interface with SBU Inventory Planner and Site Manager.
• Interact with preferred ship sites, customers and vendors.
• Interact with Customer Service and Sales representatives as needed to proactively provide information and planning assistance to fulfill customer requests.
• The interface with the logistics team is to proactively provide information and planning assistance to optimize delivery and cost-to-serve.
• Interact continuously with all aspects of plant/site operations including production, logistics, maintenance, customer service, etc.,

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations with a strong emphasis on production/inventory planning.
• Excellent communication skills - Must have the ability to communicate to all levels of the company.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to make sound decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and track record of achieving results with accuracy and precision.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in excel.
• High level of SAP exposure and training prior to go-live.
• Prior experience in inventory/supply chain planning and execution preferred.
• Experience in application of MRP software is a definite plus.
