The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory control, proper handling and packaging of materials, and timely delivery of products to customers and vendors./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliReceive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and accurately record received quantities in the inventory management system./liliPrepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling packages with shipping information, and arranging for carrier pickup or drop-off./liliInspect received and outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, or defects, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel./liliMaintain organized and clean shipping and receiving areas, including storage racks, shelves, and loading docks./liliCollaborate with other departments, such as production, purchasing, and customer service, to coordinate shipping and receiving activities and resolve any related issues./liliAssist in the periodic inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records./liliOperate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and according to company procedures./liliAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling materials and operating equipment./liliKeep abreast of shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and international shipping requirements, and ensure compliance./liliProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including timely response to inquiries and resolving shipping-related issues./li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/h3ulliProven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment./liliStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment./liliAttention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory transactions and inspecting shipments./liliExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and vendors./liliProficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)./liliAbility to safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and willingness to obtain necessary certifications./liliKnowledge of shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and international shipping requirements, preferred./liliPhysical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods./liliPositive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliThis position primarily operates in a warehouse environment, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels./liliMay be required to work evenings, weekends, or overtime during peak periods./liliMust adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling materials or operating equipment./li/ulpISM is more than a workplace its a place to thrive.
