What You'll Do As a Maintenance Tech, you are our front line for keeping customer systems running efficiently, preventing unexpected breakdowns, and mastering your trade skills in the field. Preventative Maintenance: Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections, system cleanings, filter changes, and seasonal tune-ups for residential and commercial HVAC systems. Basic Repairs & Inspections: Identify wear-and-tear issues, check electrical connections, monitor refrigerant pressures, and report diagnostic findings to senior technicians or home/business owners. Customer Communication: Walk customers through maintenance checklists, answer basic questions clearly, and represent Mills with courtesy and professionalism. Safety & Standards: Maintain clean job sites, adhere to safety protocols, and keep your company vehicle fully stocked and organized. Continuous Learning: Participate in company-paid technical training and shadow Senior Service Techs on complex diagnostic and repair calls. Certifications & Compliance: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required). EPA Universal certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, and participate in E-Verify work authorization.
