Measurement Technician

Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.ScheduleMonday - Friday, available for overtime and call-outs as needed based on business necessityEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Measurement Technician will install, operate and maintain, all measurement equipment safely and in accordance with Company Policy and applicable Industry Standards, to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement data.Operate a Company-owned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of measurement facilities in accordance with industry standards and Kinetik procedures/policies.Perform / Witness testing and calibration of owned and 3rd party meters.Install, configure, troubleshoot, operate, maintain, inspect, test, and calibrate electronic flow meters, associated measurement and communications equipment (gas and liquid), control and relief valves.Collect gas and liquid samples in accordance with policy and Industry Standards.Maintain measurement and typical pipeline equipment.Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including critical safety and regulatory documentation as it pertains to measurement systems.Perform any and all assigned duties in a safe, professional manner with the utmost integrity and in accordance with all applicable laws and Company policy.Education and/or Work Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.Must be familiar with orifice meters and electronic flow meters with some gas analysis experience. Some experience with ultrasonic and Coriolis meters preferred.
