This role will focus on:

As a QualityControl Technician within Watson-Marlow, America Manufacturing Inc. site,you will be leading all actions regarding the conducting testing procedures ofmanufacturing processes to ensure that our products comply with our customersquality standards. Accordingly, you will be responsible for analyzing,monitoring and identifying quality gaps and issues and proposing continuousimprovement initiatives and opportunities for the business to excel in.


What you'll be doing

• Support inspections, testing, and quality evaluations of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and environmental samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor manufacturing and testing processes to ensure activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, protocols, specifications, and standard test methods.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, nonconformances, risks, and improvement opportunities, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Interpret test results against established specifications and control limits and make recommendations regarding product quality and disposition.
• Support the execution, investigation, and closure of Quality Events within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
• Raise and manage nonconformances for internal quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring timely communication, investigation, and resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer complaint responses and provide regular status updates to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Review the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions following implementation.
• Maintain, administer, and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Create, revise, control, and maintain QMS documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Generate and coordinate change controls resulting from internal and external quality-related communications.
• Maintain quality records and provide general quality system administration support.
• Ensure compliance with BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14644 Cleanroom Standards, applicable GMP requirements, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support and participate in internal audits, certification audits, customer audits, and audit follow-up activities.
  Perform internal audits and coordinate corrective actions to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain and update calibration systems, coordinating equipment calibration, repair activities, and associated records with Supply Chain and Production teams.
• Ensure all inspection, testing, and measurement equipment is properly calibrated, validated, maintained, and operated safely.
• Maintain quality performance metrics and communicate results, trends, and improvement opportunities to management.
• Support supplier quality activities, including maintenance of supplier and performance reports.
• Provide guidance and coaching to employees on quality management system requirements, compliance expectations, and quality best practices.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Support Quality and Compliance strategic initiatives and help align manufacturing quality practices across facilities.
• Participate in Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) quality and compliance projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and environmental policies and actively contribute to safety improvement initiatives.
• Support the achievement of quality KPIs and business objectives by driving a culture of operational excellence, accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, ethical decision-making, inclusivity, customer focus, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Competent with Microsoft software application
• Ability to work within Clean Room facility

This position offers a salary range of (USD 28.00 - 35.00 Hourly). Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
