Job Description
Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a 250-bed hospital setting, supporting patient health and medication management. This 13+ week contract position begins as soon as possible and offers a dynamic work schedule with rotating shifts to meet hospital needs.
Location: Marshfield, WI
Schedule/Hours:
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- Rotate between 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Workweek typically starts on Wednesday
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with hospital standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
- Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
- Participate in hospital rounds and provide drug information and education to medical staff
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate medication records
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
