Scaffold HelperThe Scaffold Helper is responsible for providing assistance to employees with various duties in a safe manner.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct behavioral based safety observationsParticipate in daily JSEA meetingsPerform work involving the erection and dismantling of scaffoldingAssist with erecting and dismantling of all forms of access including but not limited to system scaffold and tub and clamp scaffoldingClimb and work in high places that may exceed 200' in height, and in restricted spaces but not limited to over water and confined spacesComplete daily visual inspections and minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition as directed by field leadershipAssist construction personnel with various projects including but not limited to: rig equipment loads, assembly of pipe spools by bolt up flange connections, crane operator with equipment and material movement on the platform, coordinate crane activity for transport of material to work site with ability to properly rig equipment such as slings and cables, welders and fitters with assembly of pipe & pipe fittings and firewatchDemonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, included but not limited to Safety, and Company valuesWear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)Perform all other duties as assigned by Scaffold field leadership, manager and/or supervisorMinimum Qualifications And RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent educationBasic written and verbal skillsMust have a valid TWIC cardExperience using safe work habitsMust be reliable and have good time management skillsFor new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screenFor new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
