Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent required 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required 1 year experience paramedic experience in EMS or fire department preferred EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required upon hire or LP - Licensed Paramedic required upon hire or ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
