Key responsibilities include:Serve as primary EMC contact for OEM technical communications and requirements managementAnalyze and interpret legal and OEM EMC specification documents to ensure complianceDevelop and maintain EMC Compliance Matrices that document all requirements and obtain customer agreementCreate EMC test specifications for Design Validation (DV) and Product Validation (PV) phases in accordance with applicable legal and OEM requirementsPlan and coordinate EMC Design Validation (DV) test campaigns with internal teamsPlan and coordinate EMC Product Validation (PV) test campaigns with certified and OEM-recognized test laboratoriesReview and evaluate EMC test reports for accuracy and complianceCommunicate EMC test results and findings to customers and stakeholdersConduct root cause analysis for EMC deviations and recommend corrective actionsCommunicate EMC deviations and improvement measures to ECU development and integration teamsProvide technical guidance on EMC-compatible electrical hardware system designImplement and verify effectiveness of EMC improvement measuresSupport the development of EMC-compliant circuit design, layout, and electromechanical product designQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive)5 or more years of professional experience in EMC testing within the electronics engineering field, specifically in automotive or aerospace industriesProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook softwareDemonstrated ability to analyze and interpret technical specifications and compliance documentationAbility to communicate technical findings and recommendations in writingPreferred:Experience with schematic design, layout, and RF theoryKnowledge of electrical hardware development, specifically circuit design and validationExperience with software packages such as CANalyzer, CANape, and INCAProficiency with statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE) analysis, and product reliability analysisExperience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external laboratoriesFluency in English and GermanAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
