Production Maintenance Technician - 12hrs Atlanta, GA, USA Job Description Production Maintenance Tech Department: Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Manager Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Position Purpose Provides maintenance support for the plant. Principle Accountabilities Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment including replacing motors, relays, and switches on varied machinery up to and including three phases 480-volt energy. Performs preventive maintenance and maintains records to ensure safe, reliable equipment. Serves as point person for production personnel in regard to preventative maintenance and problem equipment troubleshooting. Diagnoses and repair forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and other related equipment. Maintains and refills parts inventory. Provides prompt response to and resolution of unplanned equipment failures resulting in production downtime. Effectively communicates with machine operators and supervisors including equipment issues and safety concerns. Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Related tasks as requested by supervisor. Essential Skills and Experience 5+ Years in Industrial Maintenance required. Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and issue resolution of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, circuitry, PLC, AC/DC drivers, and welding fabrication required. Intermediate math and computer skills and English written communication skills necessary. Demonstrates proper usage of personal protective equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 70 lbs., and work in hot environments on a constant basis.
