Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 40 hours per week guaranteed; weekend and holiday coverage as needed; on-call rotation.

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient OR operations
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery
• Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care
• Document all nursing interventions accurately in Meditech Expanse

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in perioperative nursing and sterile technique
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Proficiency in Meditech Expanse
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Requirements

• 2 years of current Operating Room/RNFA experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Massachusetts RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Active CNOR certification required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
