Senior Systems Administrator (NetSuite)

Insight Global is partnering with an omnichannel retail client based in the Brooklyn area to hire a Senior NetSuite Systems Administrator . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a hybrid schedule (1–2 days onsite preferred).

This is a great time to join as the NetSuite environment will be newly implemented (OMS+POS) and this person will take full ownership post go-live.

You’ll own the day-to-day system, drive optimization, and act as the internal NetSuite expert across all connected applications. This role sits at the center of Operations, Retail, E-Commerce, Finance, and their external implementation partners, ensuring everything runs smoothly and scales with the business.

What You'll Do

• Own the NetSuite environment end-to-end (users, roles, workflows, dashboards, reporting)
• Troubleshoot and manage integrations across E-commerce (Magento/Shopify), WMS (Deposco or similar), Payments, loyalty platforms, and connectors
• Identify integration failures, trace root causes, and drive resolution across systems
• Support upgrades, releases, UAT, and overall system performance
• Build reporting & dashboards across sales, inventory, fulfillment, and finance
• Partner with Finance on month-end, reconciliation, and data integrity
• Document SOPs, improve processes, and drive automation
• Manage external partners and hold vendors accountable to SLAs

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite admin experience with ownership of a full instance
• Background in retail / ecommerce / omnichannel environments
• Experience supporting a NetSuite go-live or major implementation
• Strong integration troubleshooting experience (end-to-end)
• Comfortable being the go-to systems expert across multiple business units
• Deep with saved searches, workflows, reporting, and configurations
• Familiar with SuiteScript / SuiteFlow (knows when to escalate vs handle internally)
• Able to read API logs, integration error messages, and middleware connector outputs to isolate issues
• Strong understanding of inventory + financial processes (COGS, reconciliation)
• Comfortable and/or experienced working in lean environments without a large internal IT team

Plusses

• Direct Shopify + NetSuite integration experience
• Experience with Magento, Deposco, Clutch, Supersync, or comparable platforms
• Exposure to NSAW or NetSuite-to-BI warehouse pipelines
• Background supporting both brick-and-mortar + DTC retail
• Experience stabilizing systems post-implementation
• NetSuite certifications (Admin, SuiteFoundation, ERP, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience + 10-15% target bonus
• NetSuite certifications reimbursed; one SuiteWorld conference annually
